The first Somerset Rivers Authority (SRA) Board meeting of 2026 was held at 9.45am on Friday 20 March at the offices of Somerset Council (formerly South Somerset District Council’s headquarters) in Brympton Way, Yeovil, BA20 2HT.
Subjects at the meeting included the SRA’s budget and programme of works for 2026-27, the Major Incident of flooding declared in Somerset following Storm Chandra, and flood group networks.

Subjects at this meeting included additions to the SRA’s programme of works for 2026-27, the Somerset flooding of January to February 2025, and the activities of the SRA’s community team.
