Around 30 properties in Creech Heathfield near Taunton have benefitted from SRA-funded moves to reduce surface water flooding.

Somerset County Council’s Highways Department and contractors Milestone installed a new culvert and gullies in Charlton Road in March 2023 to improve drainage.

Thorough site investigations and clever design resulted in a scheme that was 70% cheaper than first estimated.
