Item 3: Minutes of the meeting on 10 January 2020
It was agreed that the minutes of the SRA Board meeting held on 10 January 2020 should be signed as accurate pending one minor amendment on page 7.
Item 5: Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Constitution
As recommended, the SRA Board approved the Memorandum of Understanding and Constitution.
Item 7: Quarter 3 2019-20 Financial Report
As recommended, the SRA Board noted the financial performance as at the end of Quarter 3 2019-2020.
The Board also approved the re-allocation of contingency as per section 3 of the report.
Item 9: 2021-21 SRA budget and Enhanced Programme
As recommended, the SRA Board approved the SRA 2020-21 budget.
As recommended, the Board approved the proposed 2020-21 SRA Enhanced Programme.
Item 12: SRA representation on the Somerset Local Nature Partnership Board
As recommended, the SRA Board approved the Chair as a representative on the Somerset Local Nature Partnership Board.
Item 13: Any Other Business (AOB)
David Mitchell, SRA Senior Manager, said that the Environment Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Committee has launched an inquiry into the Government’s approach into managing flood risk and is calling for evidence. The deadline for the submission of evidence is 17 April 2020. Mr Mitchell recommended that the SRA should submit evidence.
As recommended, the Board agreed that the SRA should submit evidence to the EFRA Committee’s new inquiry into flooding.
