Item 3: Minutes of previous meeting 6 March 2020

Decision

It was agreed that the minutes of the SRA Board Meeting held on 6 March 2020 should be signed as an accurate record of the meeting.

Item 5a: Oath to Burrowbridge dredging

Decisions

As recommended, the SRA Board noted that WM Longreach re-instatement works were carried out in May-June, that grass seeding and mitigation works on Southlake will commence in September, and that monitoring is ongoing to determine whether any further environmental mitigations are required.

Item 5b: Sowy – King’s Sedgemoor Drain (KSD) enhancements

Decisions

As recommended, the SRA Board reviewed the latest position with the Sowy / KSD project.

The Board also noted the critical importance of successful completion of the priority actions in a timely manner, and committed their support to help those to be delivered.

Item 7: SRA Annual Report 2019-20

Decisions

As recommended, the SRA Board reviewed and commented on the draft Annual Report.

The Board also approved the publication of the SRA Annual Report 2019-20.

Item 8: Quarter 4 2019-20 Finance Report

Decisions

As recommended, the SRA Board noted the financial performance as at the end of Quarter Four 2019-2020.

The Board also approved the re-allocation of contingency as per section three.

Item 10: SRA policies and grant guidelines

Decisions

As recommended, the SRA Board reviewed and commented on proposed changes to the document setting out SRA policies.

The Board approved the proposed changes but wanted a reference to be added to recognise that the SRA has a role to play in tackling climate change.
