Somerset Rivers Authority (SRA) Board members

The Board of Somerset Rivers Authority (SRA) has 14 members. They represent the SRA’s partners:

  • Somerset Council
  • the Axe Brue and Parrett Internal Drainage Boards (IDBs)
  • Environment Agency
  • Natural England
  • Wessex Regional Flood & Coastal Committee
  • Wessex Water

Somerset Council has six members on the Board (reflecting the SRA’s composition before Somerset’s six local authorities were reorganised from a county council and five district councils to a unitary council). One of the Somerset Council members has to be the council’s Lead Member for Environment and Climate Change (currently Cllr Dixie Darch).

The two Internal Drainage Boards each have two members.

The Environment Agency, Natural England and the Wessex Regional Flood & Coastal Committee each have one.

Declarations of interest by individual Board members can be found by touching or clicking on their names in the list below, and scrolling down to declarations on the Somerset Council website.

The codes of conduct of the Environment Agency, Natural England and the Wessex Regional Flood & Coastal Committee do not require the publication of declarations of interest by their nominees.

If a Board member is unable to attend a meeting, a Substitute may attend instead.
