More national acclaim for Muchelney road-raising scheme
An innovative road-raising scheme at Muchelney has been highly commended in the National Transport Awards - narrowly missing out on the top prize to Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 2. Even through floods as bad as those of winter 2014, the road could now stay open.
