The most recent meeting of the SRA Board (the third of the year) was held at 10am on Friday 14 June at the offices of Somerset Council in Brympton Way, Yeovil, BA20 2HT. The second 2024 meeting of the SRA Board was held at 10am on Friday 8 March at the offices of Somerset Council (the former Mendip District Council headquarters) in Cannard’s Grave Road, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5BT. Subjects on the agenda included the SRA’s new Strategy for the ten years from 2024 to 2034, and the Budget and Enhanced Programme of works for 2024.25. The Strategy, Budget and Enhanced Programme of works were all approved by the Board.

The first 2024 meeting of the Board of Somerset Rivers Authority (SRA) was held at 9.45am on Friday 19 January in the Sedgemoor Room at the Bridgwater House offices of Somerset Council in King Square, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 3AR. The meeting was a longer one than usual, lasting about three hours. Subjects on the agenda included the SRA’s 2024-25 Draft Enhanced Programme and Budget, plus the SRA’s new Draft Strategy and Flood Action Plan 2024-34, River Brue modelling and the latest moves regarding the River Sowy-King’s Sedgemoor Drain Enhancements Scheme (Phase One).
